“Doug” Tucker Gets Out-Done On Pizza Order
I find it hard to believe- a few of you neighbors might remember when Greg showed up for late night “after party” at my Hermosa house, climbing out of cab with four 18″ pizzas from Paisanos- great stuff, and lots of leftovers for the morning!
But he was outdone by someone today. I went downstairs to Pitfire Pizza to pick up lunch (they deliver but I like the “view”). Ahead of me was a 36 pizza order!!! Thank goodness they were all cooked and someone was loading like 6 at a time in her SUV parked in front - the badk seat was wall-to-wall pizzas. I think it must have been going to a movie-shoot they are doing at CalTrans today- there were several guys waiting that had “Teamsters” t-shirts on, so I guess they didn’t get the catering…
Seriously though, Pitfire Pizza rocks! Very thin crust and not a sloppy mess of tomato sauce. The have a location in Hollywood, with Westwood coming soon. At lunch time on a week day the line is out the door and around the corner here.
