The Roller Derby Is Back In Little Tokyo!
I had kind of heard about this but it turns out it’s a regular event- do any of you remember the “real” Roller Derby? It was a TV show and toured- I saw it a few times at Notre Dame basketball stadium when growning up. But then professional wrestling took over and many people could not relate to the athletecism that roller skating required.
Check this article out- I think I’ll be in the front row at next event! All the action unfolds in an unlikely place: the third floor of a mall in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
