A Memorial to Jackie the JRT
Jackie was my first Jack Russell Terrier - she died last June (2006) after a strange medical condition and $11,000 of vet bills. I kind of put her out of my mind last month as the day she died I unplugged the phone, drank and took some Valium in an effort to sleep, and an ex-girlfriend called 911 on me (I ended up in the Martin Luther King Psychiatric Ward for an extended stay- I could not get out! But that’s another story…). As soon as I got out I put a deposit down on Isis with a breeder.. Dogs are Man’s Best Friend!
Check out the video of her swimming in my pool (at old house in Hermosa Beach). She LOVED the water and would spend hours playing by herself there- dropping in toys then diving to get them. She would easily spend 30 - 45 sec underwater, at 8′ deep.
