City Hall Goes “Green”

I thought I was imagining things a few nights ago- City Hall lights on the East and West sides make the building glow green. I looked around for stories of what was going on, and figured it had something to do with the green concerts that were this weekend.

I finally found the answer on another blog- on July 2nd Mayor Tony Villar “flipped the switch” and made City Hall, Griffith Observatory, and the LAX pillars bask in green light.
