Hey Wonton- I saw your Q&A session on your blog (213) Dog and wanted to join in
My owner (skidrowdude- Eric) will do the transcription for me, Isis as I can’t type anything that you would understand (walking on the keyboard is not very accurate).
1. Your age?
I was born on July 3rd, 2006, so I am 14 months old- still a puppy but the “older lady” to you.
2. Your age when came to live with your people?
3 1/2 weeks old- my owner had put a deposit on pups from the litter, and my Mom was not very good and killed a sibling. Once the breeder got me on solid food, the breeder told my owner that he could pick me up. Now I am a total attention whore as I think I missed a normal upbringing. And my owner is a single father so I don’t get all the female attention I need, but I’m coping.
3.What color is the collar you’re wearing right now?
Red harness- I can slip out of collar, and sometimes have “Houdini-ed” the harness. I also wear a lemon-based bark collar that I have figured out how to avoid getting sprayed with- I just have to bark at the right frequency. And I have a cute red heart dog tag.
4. Who is your favorite person other than the people you live with?
My owner’s old girlfriend Duyen, and all my old neighbors in Hermosa Beach- I get so excited that I pee when I see them. But Jorge, the concierge in my new loft, always opens the door for me and doesn’t mind if some of my white hair gets on his black suit when he pets me.
5. How much do you weigh?
I’m a buffed 17 lbs of muscle.
6. Most expensive thing you’ve ever chewed up?
The move downtown was traumatic, and I chewed holes in 3 down comfortors and duvet covers… I’m better now. But I admit to gnawing on remote controls and computer wires too when I’m not in a good mood.
7. Do you like other Dogs?
I am kind of moody still- I used to get to play with other dogs off the leash in backyeads, etc. and if I can’t get close to a dog to sniff, I may just stand and bark at it. This is my number one problem I’m trying to change. Maybe it was my PMS.
8. Who is your best non-human friend?
A tea-cup Yorkshire Terrier named “Zeppy” that lived across the street from me in Hermosa Beach. We would play for an hour or so at time in the back yard. He was very cute, but prematurely gray 
9. Squeaky Toys or Tennis Balls?
I’ll fetch anything, but a good rawhide bone keeps me busy too.
10. Do you like to be brushed?
My coat is not too long- so I just get a bath frequently from Loftydogs- those ladies are better than the “Dog Whisperer” and take good care of me.
11. Peanut Butter or Cheese?
I don’t get much human food, but maybe a little piece of a burger. What’s Peanut Butter and Cheese?
12. Do your people cut your toenails?
Do you want to lose a finger??? Actually, all the walking I do on concrete now keeps my manicure and Loftydogs has never had to cut my toenails.
13. Any formal education?
My owner had a Jack Russell before and a good personal trainer, so he’s trying to use same techniques. I don’t think I understand what is doing sometimes though.
14. Couch potato or Energizer Bunny?
I’ve never run out of energy, especially when a guest comes over. But sometimes the sidewalk is too hot for me and I find a place to lie down in the shade. I slow down at sunset though, and am ready to go at sunrise.
15. What are some nicknames your people call you?
I think I’ve heard “Crazy Dog” and “Wild Dog” quite a bit… but I like “Baby Dog”
16. What is your best trick?
It’s not really a trick, just athletic agility- I go into “turbo mode” and run around the house/loft, bouncing off and climbing over every piece of furniture. It’s kind of like street-skateboarding for me, using everything, including visitors, like a pin-ball machine.
17. Do you like kitties?
The one I met had sharp fingernails - but they are fun to chase.
18. What did you have for breakfast?
I usually just have a few treats for breakfast and then eat around noon- I’m kind of picky but right now I eat the moist Pedigree packs.
19. Can you hunt (aka have you ever killed anything living)?
Kill? I’ve never bitten anything except when my owner tries to take a tasty napkin out of my mouth when I found it by a homeless guy. Never take food from a dog that is eating.
20. When & why was the last time you went to the V.E.T.?
Too long- I was supposed to get “fixed” but in all the commotion with move downtown, I was forgotten and have become a “lady” - I didn’t realize the “season” lasts so long but I will be visiting soon so I don’t have mood swings like then.
21. Where do you sleep at night?
I love my crate, but I have to be next to my owner in bed as the heat reminds me of my Mom and siblings.
22. Do you like to swim?
We used to have a pool and spa- I dove in the spa a couple of times but the pool was mostly for standing on a raft and floating around.
23. Can you make puppies?
Unfortunately, yes. But that will be “fixed”
24. Your favorite place to visit?
The Loftydog - we have the same taste and share the love for Cabrini and Karen.
25. Do you give kisses?
Yes, and very frequently.
26. Can you potty on command?
I am litter box trained for emergencies, but need my walks to sniff around a little.

I was born on November 2 2007. Ironically its the same day my owner was born.

I was 4 months old. Rescued from the shelter.
3.What color is the collar you’re wearing right now?
Black. It’s simple but makes me look like a badass
4. Who is your favorite person other than the people you live with?
I like the people i see when i visit my owner’s office. Ariadne, Russell and Pat. I especially love Dagmar because she gives me treats whenever i see her. I also love to watch the Red Sox play. My favorite players are Jacoby Ellsbury #46 (he’s my cousin) and Kevin Youkilis #20.
5. How much do you weigh?
I weigh about 25lbs now.
6. Most expensive thing you’ve ever chewed up?
My owner got mad at me when i chewed up her favorite bra.
7. Do you like other Dogs?
yes! i especially love dogs who like to play.
8. Who is your best non-human friend?
My best non-human friends are Little Boy, Madison, and Sparko.

I love them both. I can’t resist the squeak of the squeaky toys.
10. Do you like to be brushed?
No. It tickles me. I dont like to be tickled.

I haven’t had cheese yet so i would have to say Peanut Butter.
12. Do your people cut your toenails?
No. I wont let her. I get my toenails professionally done.

No. But my owner is a pretty good teacher. I know how to sit, stay, down, heel, speak, give a paw, and roll over.

Energizer bunny. But i can’t say much for my owner she likes to watch those annoying Kardashian Girls on the E! channel and the girls from the Hills.

16. What is your best trick?
Speak and Rollover are the ones that get me the most treats.
17. Do you like kitties?
No they’re mean to me. One of my housemates is a mommy kitty who just had kittens. whenever i try to say hi to her she scratches me on the nose.
18. What did you have for breakfast?
some puppy chow.

i almost caught a bird once.
20. When & why was the last time you went to the V.E.T.?
When my owner first saved me from the awful place… we went to the vet to get a check up. turned out i had pneumonia and had to be on meds for a couple of weeks.
21. Where do you sleep at night?
on my owners bed. I’m spoiled. but lately she’s been telling me to sleep on this XL cushion thing on the ground. she said its my bed. but i think it should be her bed instead.
22. Do you like to swim?
i haven’t tried it yet. i like taking baths though.
23. Can you make puppies?
No i had my doggy jewels chopped off when i was in the “shelter”
24. Your favorite place to visit?
pussy and pooch. i’ve heard a lot about the lofty dog but i haven’t been there yet. my owner is lagging it.
