First Test Of “Sunglasses Camera”
I just took a walk around City Hall with Isis and found out how to better use the camera and some of it’s limitations. The camera is bad in high contrast situations- when I am walking in shade but it is sunny in background (understandable), and I need to point my head more at what I’m looking at, and not just turn my eyes.
That said, here’s a 20 sec video showing the potential- we see Isis wanting to chase a skateboarder and barking, and me asking a lady why the west bound lanes of 1st St. are closed by CalTrans and there are many lights and scaffolding on the front steps (I assumed it was a movie but it turns out it’s a Mexican Independance Day celebration that is also taking over 1st and Main St. including in front of CalTrans and City Hall tomorrow and perhaps Sunday- I’m a little irritated about this but more on that later…)
So here’s my first attempt at “covert filming”. I am going to have fun with this new toy!

October 6th, 2007 at 4:09 pmThe complete kit was $397 on e-bay, but it’s a little cheaper now
I did have to buy a 1mb SD card to make the record time about 4 hours.
