Mexican Independance Day Celebration Went Smoothly

Although I was a little upset at not being able to walk White Dog where she likes (City Hall, City Hall South, and CalTrans), the event went off without any problems that I know of. The noise from bands and the crowd control was perfect. And while walking Isis around the periphery of the event, we saw many happy families that came to enjoy the celebration and they were very nice to me and my dog.

I just think it’s crazy that they basically start shutting streets/sidewalks down on a Thursday when event is 5pm Saturday, but oh well, such is life in downtown Los Angeles.
