Yesterday they were putting the finishing decorations on the tree on the west side of city hall, and I think it looks pretty impresive (now they just need to get the “cherry picker” out of there that they used to reach up on the tree).

It would make a great Halloween costume except I’m sure I would be smoked by a cop before I went a block… maybe I’ll try it without a gun.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving- I was feeling a little depressed.  Holidays and injuries some times do that to me.  My shoulder is still screwed up (dislocated again) so I’m going to just rest until Monday- eat a lot and sleep a lot!

As much as I hate to admit, but “if the shoe fits, wear it”.  Damn, I feel like such an idiot after seeing this, but what can I do… at least I still consider myself a “beach boy” and not an “Urban Pioneer”.

I walk about 8 miles a day - 2 miles to gym and 6 miles with my dog.  I see A LOT of traffic, plus A LOT of cops (I live 1 block from main LAPD)
I see tons of bad drivers during my walks- I don’t know how they are not pulled over.  I also see tons of cops ignore [...]

Thank god I have not gone to this place…  it will be interesting to see how long it lasts when the ImaginAsian Theater opens right next door, and LAPD parks their 600 cars across the street.  It must have tons of code violations and other problems that will shut it down.
