No, this has nothing to do with downtown or dogs, but there are a few cranes around here that you could use to try to beat this kids record… it shouldn’t be that hard as he’s not very strong :-) (Even if you don’t workout, check this out!)

I know this has nothing to do with downtown, but it is all about the love I had for my last dog that died from a strange blood problem, and all the talk about Britneys’ 5150 stay and Heath Ledger’s possible suicide, I thought I needed to tell some people what happened to me… oh, and I always liked [...]

White Dog and I have been having a great time together lately. When we do our walks, there are so many people that want to pet her, and she gets many compliments. When we are at home, she is just a sweetheart too. I am so lucky to have Isis (and I think Joe (Big City [...]

The weather downtown has been different than I’m used to at the beach. Near the ocean, the temperature does not change as much as downtown. Here, we get 30-degree changes between night and daytime, which is a little uncomfortable and hard to dress for. Yesterday was 74 degrees in daytime, and 48 degrees at night. [...]

I didn’t even notice until yesterday, even though it’s right in front of my face, I’m usually looking at the computer screen. I need to pay more attention because this construction process is pretty amazing. There are [...]

Fellow downtown blogger Brady Westwater (LA Cowboy) came up with the idea to have comedians perform at various venues along the Art Walk path- “Comedy Walk” kicks off tomorrow night with many acts (all free) in 6 different venues. The event is from 8:00 - 9:30, and it looks like it’s going to start with a [...]

I heard there was a homicide at the downtown club “Crash Mansion” on last Friday. Didn’t really surprise me as shootings happen frequently at clubs in Hollywood. Then I read the story in the Los Angeles Downtown News. One thing that stood out was that the guy that was killed was only 19 (it turns [...]

So the weather has been very gray and rainy; I haven’t been doing much, but I was chatting on a web site about various guns, and some guy was making the point that you don’t need a large caliber weapon, especially if you can’t aim it and control it. This video was posted to make [...]
