Isis Is My Best Friend
White Dog and I have been having a great time together lately. When we do our walks, there are so many people that want to pet her, and she gets many compliments. When we are at home, she is just a sweetheart too. I am so lucky to have Isis (and I think Joe (Big City Poz) feels the same way about Ruby - dogs are man’s - and woman’s best friend).
I have to share these pics with you- I think my girl is so beautiful!

January 23rd, 2008 at 4:01 amYour very personal story reminded me of a “personal growth” seminar I took in the 1980’s. One of the exercises was, they darkened the room and told everyone to sit or lay on the carpeted floor and get comfortable. Then, people took turns saying out loud in the dark things that they had done in their lives or things that had happened that were extremely painful. It was mind-blowing to me how many stories we hold inside, how many painful secrets people keep hidden inside. And how much we all have in common. Thank you for telling your story. I have some to tell too.
January 25th, 2008 at 3:28 amThanks Rich; Unfortunately, Isis is no Jackie, as she is insanely hyper around other people, and can’t handle seeing other dogs when she is on a leash. It’s kind of a pain-in-the-a** sometimes.
Any more excitement down in LBC? Nothing much new up here.
