On The 7th Night: Jackhammers!
Tonite is the 7th night that 2nd St. was closed at Main St. to allow the new LAPD HQ to get hooked-up to the main sewer line. According to memos from Higgins building managment, this project was to take 3-4 days of work between 8pm and 5am. Based on my totally uneducated opinion, and the fact that this is the first night I’ve heard jackhammers (usually it’s concrete saws), I’d guess there are a few more sleepless nights ahead…
