Sidewalk Closures- Part 2
Can someone tell me what this building is that is taking foreever to build? It is one ugly building- notice it’s complete lack of windows- is it a new holding cell for inmates? It is on south side of Temple St., between Los Angeles St and San Pedro St (or properly called Judge John Aiso St. in that block).
This building has been under construction for the 16 months I’ve lived here, with no huge progress (it has grown to 5 stories, but still looks months from finishing). The sidewalks are always screwed up around it- not to mention that the traffic lights take forever to change (this is one place where I am so tempted to jay-walk, but it also happens to have the highest percentage of cops around as Parker Center- current LAPD HQ, is right next door).
More sidewalks closing, but none appear to be opening anytime soon… not very pedestrian friendly.
