Come Celebrate Dog Walk Downtown’s
1st Anniversary
Wednesday, October 8th, Dog Walk Downtown is celebrating it’s 1st Anniversary with a party at Pershing Square (there will be no dog walk this time- just a party). Ken, founder of Dog Walk, dog park advocate, and father of Dodger Dog and Aggie, has put together quite an event. Special guests include Jan Perry, Hal Bastian, and an LAPD Senior Lead Officer. It looks like he got sponsorship from not only Pussy and Pooch, The Lofty Dog, but Showbiz Ribs as well, so that sounds to me like FOOD!
September’s Dog Walk was fun, with a visit to Angel’s Knoll at 4th and Hill, where we watched in amazement as the goats made fast-time in clearing the hill of weeds and shrubs.

I don’t know how long I can attend the party, as White Dog is not very good at standing around and watching people eat, but we’ll give it a try- you should too, as your pooch will love it.

oh hey…dakota and big D are in this picture! thanks, eric. too bad i missed this one. but we’re there for the party for sure.
September 26th, 2008 at 1:10 pmA- I think it’s great pic, but I did not take the pic of D and Dokota- Ken, founder of Dog Walk Downtown, did, and posted it on his site, which I linked to, but could not “hot link” the photo for some reason. I need to credit him…
I’m looking forward to all the upcoming dog stuff- it’s great downtown!
September 26th, 2008 at 1:13 pmoh oops. that’s ok.
September 26th, 2008 at 1:22 pmWe will try and make it, look forward to seeing everyone again. Ken does a great job bringing this together.
September 26th, 2008 at 2:04 pmYeah B, Ken is pretty good with his “dog activism”- I think he and Celia are doing some work on getting a dog park down by you- you probably know more than me…
I hope we run into you, H and Carter again- it’s great to put a face with all of your funny blog posts. Keep up the great writing, and let it keep evolving!
