Dog Walk Tonite?
Any of you folks attending? B & H? Li and Kiddo? DNA? LA Lola? Celia, Jim and Wonton? Downtown Bruin/Dodger Dog? I’m 95% sure I will be at Pershing Square at 6pm, with my girlfriend Yan, so I hope I see all of you and the pooches.
I’ve been suffereing through a motherboard malfunction since Monday and only now am able to be productive again (with purchase of piece-of-crap Compaq to throw my harddrives into), so I may get excited to be writng code again. But it would be great to see you folks if at all possible.
I really want to go! But Kidlo is fighting off a cold so I’m going to have to skip it (sob). I’ll try again next month.
February 11th, 2009 at 4:59 pmHey E! Unfortunately, per the vet, the pups are still too young. Need one more round of shots and a few more weeks, so I have to wait till next month. Hope you guys have fun, though!
February 11th, 2009 at 5:00 pmDarn it! I was so hoping to meet you LA Lola and Li (and of course Kiddo and pooches). Maybe we’ll run into each other sometime before next dog walk rolls around, as it seems like we freaquent the Broadway/Spring/Main St. corridors a lot.
Take care-
Eric
February 11th, 2009 at 5:20 pmWhat a cool night- some of the “core” folks wer missing, but all the regulars I’ve known were there (except the “significant otheres” of Brian and Celia… you were missed). I’m sorry we had to leave when Isis started misbehaving- she just cannot sit still for a little break, and it kills me as I cannot take her anywhere for food, etc. Thanks for your understanding- we had a great time.
February 11th, 2009 at 10:53 pmhey I actually contemplated going but I’ve been feeling run down and crappy for the past few days (getting over a malingering cold) and figured if I was going to be well for Art Walk I would need to stay in. Of course not having a dog helps me make up my mind too! =)
When the weather’s nicer maybe I’ll come and take pix of you guys again. (hopefully better than last time!)
February 12th, 2009 at 2:50 amHi Pamela!
Sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. It was very cold on dog walk, and I’m sure you wouldn’t have felt very good doing it.
Are you working any gallery at Art Walk tonite? I don’t have to be in the Valley at 5:30am tomorrow so I plan to have some fun tonite. Maybe I’ll see you and Sean…
February 12th, 2009 at 7:36 amArt Walk rocked- definitely cool to see downtown sidewalks packed with upscale people (I was looking like the bum in the crowd). Yan and I had some more good food at The Must / Weeneez, saw Celia, Jim and Wonton, and was disappointed as we wanted to introduce ourselves to Bert Green but that guy is so busy, and I wanted to be polite. Bert seems like such a cool downtown dude and I hope to meet him someday. I’ll just have to stop by his gallery on a slower day.
ART WALK ROCKS!
February 13th, 2009 at 12:11 amHi! I was still a little crummy so I stayed in on Art Walk! It was rather peaceful and warm staying in and I could still hear the band in front of the Tat shop REALLY WELL up at 4th & Main. =)
Sean went out to enjoy art walk. He had dinner at Julie’s around 7pm or so.. he was saying The Must was packed; we still haven’t tried that place.
Main Street (at least Banquette) didn’t seem near as busy as I’m used to seeing it. I looked out and even earlier there were still seats available.. and then later after 9pm the street was getting emptier. Maybe everyone was on Spring.. Art walk seemed to end early. Then again, I wasn’t out in it, but I’m used to the crowds and folks at Banquette & OBDVD spilling out on the sidewalks and the noise being a lot more boisterous til 1 or 2am.
Sean said it was the cold… He said he though BGFA closed around 8pm.
