White Dog’s New Nickname Is “Q-Tip”- Stuntdouble for Friday?

I’ve been letting White Dog’s hair grow out during our coldest winter in memory- she is a “rough coat” Jack Russell and her hair gets very thick. When it rains, her fur is like a duck’s back- rain just beads on surface and runs off, not getting down to skin. It’s kind of a pain as she sheds a little and dark clothes attract that white hair like a magnet.

So while walking the other day a lady says “She looks just like a Q-Tip!” and at first I wasn’t too happy with analogy but on second thought, it’s a pretty accurate description, hence her new nickname “Q-Tip”.

On another note- for past few months people have been asking me if she was in movies, commercials, etc and I just laugh and say something like there is no way she would behave for that. Then a girl says loudly “Hotel for Dogs!” to her boyfriend and points at Q-Tip. I never saw the movie but remember when it was being filmed downtown- looked up the IMDB pics and see a resemblance between Q-Tip and “Friday”- the canine star of the movie. I think I’ll have to rent the movie as I always like dog movies, even if they are for a young audience.
