I’m One Ethical Mo-Fo
I got a “hurry up” message via e-mail last Wednesday- I needed to take an ETHICS test and print a certificate by next day. So, yes, I complied- questions were totally geared for real “politicians” who work for US- who pay thier salaries, but I took it (I had to.).
I cannot figure out why poeple do not understand that making a CONTRACTOR (hourly employee- PROGRAMMER) take this is a good value for governement, but oh well, they paid me.
Ahh yes, the State Employee Biennial Ethics course….click, click click, I just click my way through that one.
However, if they make you take the Sexual Harassment course, that one’s actually pretty funny. “Is it appropriate for Bob to ask Sarah about her bikini wax?” and then there’s a picture of Cartoon Bob sneering at Cartoon Sarah with a talk bubble above him that says “Brazilian?”
No joke. Hiiii-larious.
April 3rd, 2011 at 3:06 pmWhat’s ethically wrong with asking “Brazilian or Natural”? (God, first time I typed that I asked what is ETHNICALLY WRONG- now that is funny, especially considering who I could have asked. Oh well, they only have to put up with me for 5 more months.
