Boston’s Mayor Gives Jan Perry A Run For Stupidity
Boston’s Mayor Thomas M. Menino just banned the sale or promotion (advertising) of “sugary” drinks on city property. The city has six months to implement the ban.

I HATE “sugary” drinks- even a lot of fruit juice I stay away- if timing is right, I’ll drink a Gatorade (real or G2), but STILL- let adults do what the want to their body, within reason. Boston in 2004 banned junk food and soft drink vending machines from public schools- now I admire that. They don’t need that access in school. But not letting adults go get a coke to take back to their desk? Come on now…
Jan Perry shutting down any new fast food restaurants in her district (downtown) was a total b.s. move- that fat-ass, attention-whore should STFU and worry about budget issues. If she makes mayor, I swear I am GONE from L.A. because it will NEVER recover. You CAN eat (relatively) healthy at a McDonalds- not everyone orders 2 Big Macs, supersized fries, and a milkshake.
Wait for my rant on the government and smokers- that is coming next… (hint: if your gonna drug test me- you better not hire a nicotene addict that takes 6 “walks” a day to smoke).
