This blog is the adventure of a confirmed “beach boy” and his best friend, “white dog” (Isis, a 10 month old “rough coat” Jack Russell Terrier) as they move from the beach to the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Walking Isis 4 times or so a day provides the opportunity for many unexpected, unusual, funny, or scary experiences. Also, as new restaurants, bars, and clubs are experienced, mini-reviews will be included.
I hope you will enjoy at least some of the stories or at least find them of interest. Please feel free to add your comments or ask questions via the comment function (spam and slanderous posts will be deleted).
And before anyone interprets the title or me as racist- I am far from it. There may be some posts that some may deem offensive about various races- but I will be relating the stories of daily living in downtown Los Angeles, which has a multitude of racial “neighborhoods” blocks away, and walking my dog through them. I will be making fun of me just as much (my favorite t-shirt says “White Men Can’t Dance” with a funny pic ). So don’t take anything personally, but feel free to make your objections via comments.
